Meet Dr. Fakhoury

Dr. Serene Fakhoury, O.D., was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Northwest Indiana. She earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Chicago College of Optometry. Dr. Fakhoury provides comprehensive optometric care, including routine eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases. She is dedicated to delivering personalized care by taking the time to listen, educate, and ensure that each patient feels comfortable and confident in managing their eye health.

She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association, staying current with the latest developments in optometric science and patient care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Fakhoury enjoys exploring new coffee shops and traveling to experience different cultures and cuisines. She is fluent in both English and Arabic, allowing her to connect with and provide care to a diverse patient population.
